1958

The story begins in 1958

Finn Jørgensen founded DINO in Middelfart on Funen in 1958. Here he built the first DINO go-kart, with the ambition of creating a go-kart with a strong frame and a very special driving experience.

We can proudly say that we are the world's oldest go-kart brand. As a brand, we have helped define the go-kart industry in racing as well as rental.

2009

From Middelfart to Auning

In 2009, DINO was acquired by Nørgaard Teknik A/S, and production moved to Auning in Djursland. Experience with welding and mechanical engineering became part of the work of developing the go-kart’s components and quality further.

The driving experience at the centre

Low weight, a low centre of gravity and a good feel for the go-kart are central to our work. We develop durable, service-friendly go-karts, so everyday life at the track can be about the guests and the driving experience.

We are not afraid to adopt new technology and think outside the box. That is a big part of why DINO is still here after so many years on the track.
